Our mission, goals, and practices to create more ethical standards in the fields of surrogacy and egg donation.

The Society for Ethics for Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS) is a nonprofit group created for all U.S. agencies to have a voice in defining a set of ethical standards for egg donation and surrogacy programs. We are working to self-regulate and offer the best ethical standards for all parties including our clients, clinics, donors, surrogates and others in our industry.

SEEDS strives to create and maintain a community within surrogacy and egg donation which focuses on ethics in each and every facet of this process. We understand the importance, not only to the professional community, but to the general public, in facilitating ethical business practices that ensures third-party reproduction remains a viable and obtainable family building option for generations to come.

A large portion of our efforts goes towards educating our members through the SEEDS Education Committee. The purpose of the SEEDS Education Committee is to create, prepare, and facilitate educational opportunities and standards for SEEDS Membership.

In order to become a member and maintain membership, each member organization must meet certain educational guidelines set forth by the Education Committee in an effort to increase knowledge and ethical practices by each and every member of our organization.
